Built by a pastor,
for pastors.
SanctuaryCMS wasn't built by a software company looking for a market. It was built by someone who needed it.
SanctuaryCMS grew out of a real problem. As a pastor of a Baptist church in Butte, Montana, I found myself managing my congregation through spreadsheets, email threads, and memory. Most church management software was either too expensive, too complicated, or built for megachurches with IT departments.
So I built what I needed. A simple, secure member portal where my congregation could access a directory, view bulletins, submit prayer requests, and stay connected — and where I could track giving, manage missionaries, and coordinate nursery schedules without learning a complicated system.
That system became SanctuaryCMS. It's been running Grace Baptist Church in Butte, MT since 2022, and every feature in it came from a real ministry need. Nothing was added because a software consultant thought it would sell — everything is there because a church actually needed it.
While it was built with a Baptist congregation in mind, SanctuaryCMS works equally well for non-denominational churches, Southern Baptist churches, and any congregation that values straightforward tools built around biblical community.
